Founded in 1994 in Bamako by Mr Mossadeck Bally (current Chairman and CEO), the Azalaï Hotels Group is today a major player in the hotel sector in West Africa, managing 7 hotels in Mali, Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Benin, Mauritania and Guinea Bissau.
This Technical Assistance is in support of BIO's investment of € 4 M for the renovation of the Salam Hotel in Bamako and the construction of a new 3-star hotel to be built on the same premises. The holding company SGH SA is the sub-holding of the Azalaï holding company which manages hotels in Mali
Technical Assistance
The goal of the Technical Assistance is to conduct a governance and financial analysis of the group including:
- An analysis of the current situation
- Recommendations on the efficiency of the group's management
- A proposal for the restructuring of all the group's debt
Expected impact
This TA project aims to ensure the group's sustainability by assisting Azalaï Hotels in developing a plan to restructure its debts and its managerial organisation.
